Description
Preparation before welding: the same as ordinary welding.Mark out the welding area on the pipe.Clean the welding surface, scrape the welding surface within the scribed area about 0.2mm to remove the oxide layer, and the scraped area shall be larger than the oxide layer.
For the installation of pipe fittings, the method provided by the manufacturer shall be used to ensure that there is no gap between the welding surface of PE electric melting saddle pipe fittings and pipes.Welding data input and welding: the same as general welding method.
Natural cooling, in the cooling process should be in a state of pressure.The cooling time of saddle type pipe fittings shall be more than 60min or operate according to the product operation instructions.Plug, according to the pipe fitting instructions.

Attention
Before the electric melting saddle type pipe fittings are connected, the dirt on the pipe connecting area shall be cleaned and scraped.The connection area of saddle type pipe fittings and pipes should be cleaned with proper detergent.Pipe fittings shall be fixed to the pipe with suitable clamps and clamping forces as required by the pipe fittings.
Welding parameters of electric fusion connection shall meet the requirements of pipe and pipe fitting manufacturers.Before the specified cooling time is reached, the clamp shall not be removed and no external force shall be applied to the joint.After the PE electric melting saddle type pipe fittings are connected, the appearance inspection shall be carried out and the following requirements shall be met:
A. When welding is completed, the pipe wall shall not collapse, and there shall be no molten material flowing out from any position in the pipe fitting.
B. After welding, the observation hole meets the requirements of the manufacturer.
C. The electric melting saddle connection drilling shall be carried out after reaching the specified cooling time and passing the appearance inspection.
Test method
A. After the saddle type pipe fittings are welded, there shall be no molten material flowing out of the surface.
B. A small amount of PE should be ejected from the observation hole, but the ejected object should not flow.
C. Pipe fittings shall be vertical to the pipe axis.
D. There shall be no obvious gap.
E. There shall be scraping marks around the welding part of pipe fittings.
